What personal data we collect through georgegroup.uk, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, role, project brief, and any files you choose to send (such as drawings or bills of quantities). We also record your consent choice and the time of submission. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and — if a project proceeds — to coordinate specification, production and delivery. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Where your data goes
Enquiry data is processed by George Group's team. Because our coordination and manufacturing operations are based in China, responding to your enquiry involves transferring your data there. Uploaded files are held in private, access-controlled storage and are not publicly listed. Unprocessed enquiry files are deleted after 90 days; enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months.
When you submit an enquiry, the details you provide are transmitted to our team as an email via our email delivery provider (Resend), and recorded in our access-controlled enquiry database hosted on Cloudflare, which is visible only to authorised members of our team and used solely to respond to your enquiry. Cloudflare may provide an approximate country code for the submission; we do not store the full IP address. Submission is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that may process technical information about your browser to distinguish human visitors from bots.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary security cookies, which do not require consent.
With your consent, we load two optional analytics services — Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — which set their own cookies to help us understand how the site is used. These scripts are only loaded after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; if you click "Reject" they are never loaded. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the page footer.
Videos on this site are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you click to play them; YouTube may set cookies once playback starts.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
